My planner’s quote of the day: “Good health and good sense are two of life’s greatest blessings.” --Publilius Syrus
That time of year
again … where I make mostly impossible goals for myself :P But life
should have some impossible goals, really. Cuz one day, I may actually
surprise myself … ha!
- Be more thankful. Take a moment each day to write down at least one thing you’re thankful for that day (end of day).
- Spend more time with the momma!
- Read 100 books. Going for 100 again. Let’s see if I hit it this year (:
- Spend more time with the aunts/uncles…extended family.
- Visit one new place, that you have never been to (even if it’s in CT).
- Write more. I’ll even include drafting in here because this past year was bad across the whole board so … all included. Just … write!
- Take more photos! Pick one of my 10billion cameras at home and take more pics.
- Get 8 actual hours of sleep at night. Be in bed by 11:30PM during the week.
- Calm the hell down. I find myself jumping to anger so easily these days, and then feeling like an ass after. Think before I react. Take a deep breath, center myself and truly look at whatever is trying to anger me from all perspectives before jumping to anger (if it is justified).
- Spend less time sitting around on the computer playing video games. Not cut it out completely because it’s something I truly enjoy, but make time for other hobbies I enjoy too (reading, coloring, writing, etc.).
- Teach myself patience. If anyone knows how I go about this, help appreciated. I have lost ALL patience (and I had little to begin with).
- Stop eating sweets that get dropped off at work. Unnecessary sugar intake!
- Add a lot more veggies and fruits to the meals.
- Stop spending so much damn money on Amazon for crap you don’t need! Put $400 a month into savings ($200 a pay period) at least.
